Build your first optimized and performant Iceberg lake

We’ll create a production Iceberg lake from scratch with best practices:

Build an Iceberg table from json data
View file and metadata structure
Insert production data, creating necessary partitions
Sort and compact files to improve query performance
Set snapshot expiration to manage resource usage

Next, we'll adapt and use the lake for business use cases:
